Touching Young Lives...
At Simi Covenant we believe that children are a gift from God. As a result, we desire to create an environment and atmosphere in which the truth of Jesus Christ and the Bible is conveyed in a creative, fun, and relevant way. Children are insatiable learners that are enthusiastic about adding anything to their store of knowledge. This is why it is crucial to expose them to biblical truth now, while they are eager to learn, tenderhearted, and open to Christ's invitation to "Come unto Me".

Our goal is to create an environment in which each individual child can discover, grow and share the good news of Jesus Christ. We are dedicated to pushing the limits to reach this goal, while keeping our foundation firmly planted. We strive to create a high quality, well balanced, program in which every child can walk away knowing that it is exciting and rewarding to be a follower of Christ.

Our Children’s Ministry is here to change the lives of our kids, as well as everyone that they come in contact with. If you are a parent, give us a call and we'll get your son or daughter plugged in.

If you are an interested adult, there is always room for someone who wants to change kids lives by sharing Jesus’ love. All that you need to do is contact the Church Office to get more information on the opportunities to work with and or for kids.

E-Scrip - R U Signed UP?

E-SCRIP For the Pre-School.

Have you signed up for e-Scrip? This is the easiest way to fund raise, both for us and for you. It costs nothing, and it’s very easy to sign up. We will even do it for you! Just provide us with your Von's or Albertson's card number, address, and phone number, and we will do the rest! You can even register your debit or credit cards or register family and friends from out of state. Check the website (www.escrip.com) or with Beth in the preschool office (527-6011) for more information. Thank you to everybody who has signed up already. For September we received $942 through e-Scrip! 100% of this money goes into our fund for the new play yard.

Children’s Sunday School (9:00 AM)…

Children’s Church (10:30)…Kindergarten – 5th Grade

Bring your children with you to the Worship Center. After approximately 20 minutes of worship, just after the offering, the children are dismissed from “adult church” and escorted by an adult helper to “children’s church” - Room 206. This is where your child can be picked up once the service is over.

Homework Club

Simi Covenant's Homework Club is in full swing, it's now at SCC. Meeting every Tuesday evening from 5:15-6:15 PM, kids in grades 1-8 can work on their homework and get one-on-one help from our Club Leaders. Kids must be able to work independently and ask for help and explanations as needed. Parents may stay if they like, and we are always on the lookout for adults who can help as Homework Coaches. Call Maureen McTeer at 526.8855 X12 if you have any questions or to RSVP.

Parents: Please plan to accompany your child into the Fellowship Hall (the building with the ski slop roof) to ensure there is adult supervision. Please have your child bring extra work or a book to read in case their homework is finished quickly. They will not be allowed to leave until 6:15 PM or when released to their parent or the Super Tuesday/Club 45 Ministry Leaders.
